Chalooby – “Something More”

/

The absorbing “Something More” fuses lush synths and twangy guitars with delightful results. The track comes via Bloom FM, the newly released album from Chalooby.

“I think I’m over it,” the vocals proclaim amidst sleepy synth vibrations and gentle bass pushes. The steady escalation into piano additions and bouncier bass plays invitingly, with the final minute embracing beautiful guitar additions. Atmospherically blissful, “Something More” is one of many highlights on Bloom FM.

Chalooby elaborates on the track:

“This was the first song i wrote on the upcoming album about beginning a new chapter in life. I think instrumentally it reflects that, as its extremely synth based rather than guitar based which is more of a new sound for me. along with lyrically talking about not looking back in the past but moving on to something more. This was a clash of so many current and past influences, from 60s Psych pop, Dream pop, surf rock… and the list goes on.”
