The latest from Memoryy, “Walking On Eggshells” is a climactic electro-pop stirrer that culminates in an anthemic title-touting resonance. Described as “an electronic anthem for Post-Truth America,” the single swells seamlessly from darkly industrial ruminations — with shades of Depeche Mode in the rhythms especially — into a brighter, punchier category. “We’re all walking on eggshells,” the chorus proclaims, bolstered with multi-layered vocal production and an effervescent underlying synth.
“Walking On Eggshells” is another success from the Albuquerque-based project of Shaun Hettinger, who also runs Neon Moon Studios.
