Fellow Hollow – “Alder”

/

A new single from Fellow Hollow, “Alder” is an inviting, caressing success with chamber-pop and folk enamoring. “Where do you go?” the vocals ask amidst quainter piano and trickling acoustics, as gradual percussive rousing lends a sturdy component alongside the ghostly vocals. The track stirs in its range, from hand-plucked haunting folk to the melodic pop rises. Elegant vocal harmonizing and the more chamber-pop minded aesthetical expanse closes “Alder” with stellar, compelling qualities.

Fellow Hollow is the studio project from producer/singer/pianist Andrew Williams, in addition to guitarists/multi-instrumentalists Luke Fleeman and Michael Barnett. “Alder” represents the first single from their new album, releasing later this summer.

This and other tracks featured this month can be streamed on the updating Obscure Sound’s ‘Best of July 2023’ Spotify playlist.
