KOLORA – “Arrive”

//

Amsterdam-based duo KOLORA craft a compelling audible journey on new single “Arrive,” the first single from their new album, Arrive. A hypnotic blend of spacey synths and gentle guitar touches make for an illuminating soundscape, propelled by the two members’ collaborative charm. The lush guitar work of Liloe Barend cohesively intertwines with Koenraad Wiering’s ruminating synths, stirring in both the effervescent pad underlying and lulling arpeggio.

The bright, backing synth illumination and trickling arpeggio drive into a warming bass pulse, excelling into textured guitar reflections as the two-minute mark hits. The synth work remains fairly constant, tonally, as the guitars weave in with effortless-sounding appeal. Fit for meditation and immersive listening alike, “Arrive” is a master-class in atmospheric engagement from the talented duo of KOLORA.
