Summer Of Love – “I’m In Love With You”

/

Exuding a harmonious sound one would anticipate from a project entitled Summer of Love, “I’m In Love With You” represents the trio’s debut single.

The smitten “I’m in love with you,” vocals open alongside prancing piano. An ensuing yelp excels into a hypnotic assortment of brisk bass and flourishing acoustics, continuing the initial vocal sequence with a more debonair allure. An unrequited vocal tilt emerges thereafter, with the “you don’t love me,” acknowledgement settling into a tranquil haze at mid-point. The introspective “why am I hiding?” ventures into a delectably psychedelic closing, with twangy guitars and flourishing vocal layers colliding beautifully.

This and other tracks featured this month can be streamed on the updating Obscure Sound’s ‘Best of November 2023’ Spotify playlist.
