Seasonal Falls – “Lie Down”

/

A comfortably melodic rock sound enamors on “Lie Down,” a new single from Seasonal Falls. The Switzerland-based project comprises songwriter Roman Gabriel (The Kind Hills, The Dentals), alongside Andrew Pelletier (Fur Trader). “Lie Down” represents the third and final single from their forthcoming album Happy Days, out on May 10th.

Described as “the rock song of the album,” “Lie Down” stirs with its hazy guitar work and perseverant lyrics, singing “you gonna get through it, I know,” amidst feeling “like drowning.” Tender guitar twangs glide quickly into a pulsing percussive accompaniment, lamenting a struggle to see the path ahead. Bright organs linger beautifully as the vocals escalate with subtle hookiness, immersing with an easy-going, harmonious charm throughout. Take a load off, lie down, and get lost in this lushly replay-inducing gem from Seasonal Falls.

We discovered this release via MusoSoup, as part of the artist’s promotional campaign.
