yoomcircle – “Shade Of The Dawn”

//

Glistening synths, bouncy bass, and heartfelt vocals dazzle on “Shade Of The Dawn,” a new single from yoomcircle that captures the unique beauty of becoming a parent. The vocal tone and plucky guitar work at mid-point remind of Tame Impala especially, while the title-touting traversal struts an effervescent synth-pop appeal with a starry-eyed adoration. The title references “the morning after my daughter was born,” per the artist, describing the track as “a song about love on first sight (“hold my breath and I count till ten, falling in love at 2 am”).”

This and other tracks featured this month can be streamed on the updating Obscure Sound’s ‘Emerging Singles’ Spotify playlist.
