Tendrills – “Zoning”

/

Bright keys, pit-pattering percussion, and hazy guitars immerse instantly on “Zoning,” a recent single from Tendrills. The psych-rockers hail from Delaware, and are currently splitting time between Baltimore and Vermont. Debonair guitar lines and glimpses of electronic immersion alike intertwine within the dynamic production. Thematically, the track excels in its vivid, transportive meditation on navigating emotions. Tendrills enamor with a mixture of whimsical feedback/distortion, melding cohesively with inventive grooves and soaring vocal lines.

The current lineup features founding members Alex Homan and Andi Scotti, along with Nathan Pasko, who joined the band in 2014.

This and other tracks featured this month can be streamed on the updating Obscure Sound’s ‘Emerging Singles’ Spotify playlist.
