HB Deakin – “bones”

/

A track out today from HB Deakin, “bones” immerses in its murky vocal intrigue and clanging guitar hypnotics. An enveloping bass-y buzz persists beneath, driving into a mid-point clarity of guitars and reflective, eerie synths; the atmospheric construction is enjoyable, and conveys a sort of nocturnal introspection as the vocals’ vagueness and sporadic rhythmic implementations maintain a climactic vigor. “bones” is an intriguing success with enjoyable shoegaze and rock inspirations.

This and other tracks featured this month can be streamed on the updating Obscure Sound’s ‘Emerging Singles’ Spotify playlist.
