“Here We Go Again” is a moving new track from MIDTONES, coming via their upcoming third album, Mountain, out later this year. A dreamy, late-night rock expanse shows within, fondly reminiscent of The War on Drugs. “Here we go again, on the wire, on fire,” the rousing chorus exudes, consuming in its magnetic guitar work and palpable vocal emotion. The preceding verses prove equally compelling. “Baby, please forgive me,” an emotive vocal pleading commences, as twanging guitars and chilly organs ease in alongside. Moody piano and soaring guitars emerge seamlessly thereafter. “Here We Go Again” thoroughly satiates in its sincere lyrical ruminations and dynamic rock pull.
