Intercontinen7al – “Love is Everywhere”

A stirring, Beatles-inspired track from INTERCONTINEN7AL, “Love is Everywhere” is a resonating success. The single marks the seventh and final release from the project, who caught our ears early this year with their fantastic EP, World Over. That release features music recorded across the seven continents, impressing with its eclectic stylistic allure. “Love Is Everywhere” plays as a captivating farewell, lushly melodic and comfortably familiar in its pleasantly nostalgic pop production.

Gorgeous, trickling guitars open the track with a layered serenity — then easing into a harmonious vocal presence with an encouraging suggestion: “When you feel sad, look up, the skies. Feel the shine of sun. And start again.” The mellowly absorbing, swaying instrumentation lingers alongside the compelling lyrics, memorable in their tactic to navigate tumult — in embracing the beauty of nature and life itself, in addition to remembering that starting anew is always an option.

A magnetic hook follows, with an adoring “all is love” refrain bolstered by backing harmonies, as the initial frolicking instrumentation returns. The chorus’ return, around the two-minute turn, delights as well — with the woodwind-touch presence pairing with beautiful work in really capturing that Beatles influence. “Love is Everywhere” is another memorably melodic showing from Intercontinen7al.
