1. Clair Obscur: Expedition 33 Original Soundtrack
The Game of the Year 2025 winner, Clair Obscur: Expedition 33, took the RPG experience to a new level, and now the vinyl does that, too. Composer Lorien Testard recorded select pieces with the prestigious Curieux Orchestre at Midilive Studios in Paris to deliver concert-hall quality.
This soundtrack elevates the RPG with a sophisticated orchestral approach.
Testard sequences the 63 specially mastered compositions to honor the game’s three-act structure phenomenally. The 6LP box set showcases bangers like “Get Up! For Lumière!” and “Portrait Imparfait” with impressive dynamic range. The package includes the incredible artwork by art director Nicholas Maxson-Francombe.
2. Mortal Kombat I and II Soundtracks
While the new Mortal Kombat II movie has mixed reviews, the arcade classics Mortal Kombat I and II deserve their flowers. And so do the soundtracks. Dan Forden’s iconic arcade work translates so well to vinyl. His synth-heavy compositions capture that nostalgic ’90s sound perfectly. Forden also famously appears in the game to yell “Toasty!” in that pure falsetto.

Composers Yuka Kitamura, Tsukasa Saitoh, Yoshimi Kudo, Shoi Miyazawa and Tai Tomisawa bring their FromSoftware pedigree here and to your ears. They crafted the same epic soundscapes that defined the Dark Souls trilogy.
The set presses each of the 36 compositions on unique galaxy-effect material. No two copies look identical, which is a nice touch for collectors. The Shadow of the Erdtree vinyl collection includes five full-color gatefold sleeves, a premium slipcase, an art print and a branded felt turntable slipmat. Each copy carries an individual number from 1 to 9,999.
4. Cuphead: The Delicious Last Course
Musicians will geek out over the authentic 1930s big-band and jazz orchestration here. Composer Kristofer Maddigan went all-in on period-accurate recording techniques. The result feels genuinely vintage and almost effortlessly cool. You’ll hear layered, harmonized vocals straight out of a downtown nightclub that really makes you want to swing dance.

This album reimagines those classic Nintendo 64 tunes you grew up with, but with full orchestral power. Arranger Eric Buchholz recorded the hour-long arrangement with the 64-player Slovak National Symphony Orchestra exclusively for this release. It’s not a secret that Ocarina of Time is widely beloved by gamers through several generations, but hearing Hyrule Field with an orchestra backing just hits different.
The packaging features artwork by Ryan Brinkerhoff that fans will recognize immediately. Keep looking, and you’ll see that the jacket’s front includes a die-cut Ocarina window. The gatefold showcases the Light and Dark sides, and the back features a gold-foil-stamped Triforce.
6. Sonic Mania Soundtrack
Sonic was a genre setter, and the game Sonic Mania did it all over again. Composer Tee Lopes gives you upbeat, rhythmically complex music that honors Sonic’s retro roots while pushing the sound forward.
