MP3: Destroyer – “Leave Me Alone” (New Order cover)

MP3: Destroyer – Leave Me Alone (New Order cover)

British music magazine MOJO released a compilation of New Order covers, with thirteen artists tackling the band’s 1983 classic Power, Corruption & Lies. Notable artists on the compilation include Fujiya & Miyagi, Walls, and The Golden Filter. The biggest name is Destroyer, who contributed a cover of “Leave Me Alone”. A full stream of that is above, and you can preview others from the compilation here.

Destroyer’s Kaputt took top honors on our Top Albums of 2011 feature. An excellent cover like this is a nice way to start the new year after an exceptional 2011.
