We premiered Mushroom People’s excellent track “Time Lapse” in March, showcasing a duo reminiscent in tone to the colorful work of Future Islands. Their remix of XYLØ’s “I Still Wait For You” is quite different — a more colorful, radio-centric take on pop, though with some excellent percussive and guitar-laden additions that add some infectiousness to the mix. Seeing as how “Time Lapse” got such a good reception, it seemed very worthwhile to post the duo’s remixing capabilities, even within a stylistically different sphere.
