Meadowhawks – “This Isolated Boy”

/

New York-based Meadowhawks excel at soaring rock anthems, as evidenced by their two new singles “Thursday” and “This Isolated Boy.” The latter is especially captivating, with stirring guitars and gliding vocals alternating between serene, naturalistic verses and melodically aggressive rock choruses — with gorgeous additions of woodwinds that feature in prominence especially toward the masterful conclusion, alongside brass and stampeding guitars. This is a powerful, melodically captivating track from a group with ample transitional power in their structural directions and general songwriting.
