Nasty Magic – “Hide & Seek”

/

Nasty Magic – a collaborative project from Claremont, California – describe their new track “Hide & Seek” well: “like a grunge song for an aerobics class in the 1980s.” Vocal swooning – sounds of pleasure and panting – ride over a driving synth-bass and ’80s-friendly percussion. Smooth guitar licks emerge around the one-minute mark, again emerging a minute later with a swanky guitar solo following a brief pause. Lovably vintage, though with a forward-thinking degree of creativity, “Hide & Seek” is an infectious success from Nasty Magic, a project to look out for.
