A lovely convergence of catchy guitar-forward indie pop and spacey synth-forward illumination, “Stereo” is an absorbing single from 9EYE, the solo project of Georgian multi-instrumentalist, producer, DJ, singer, and songwriter Giorgi Lagidze.
A balanced cohesion of shimmering, Phoenix-esque guitars, shimmering organs, and doses of synths traverse well into his memorable lead presence, with pulsing bass complementing the “I’m not alright” admissions. The “weight of the sunlight” sequence also dazzles in its palpable momentum, driving to a sating final minute with bouncy rhythms, ongoing guitars, and synth allure. “Stereo” is an absorbing success from 9EYE, representing the first single from his upcoming nine-track album.
