Aydio – “The Surface of Revolution”

/

London-based electronica/trip hop artist Aydio impresses with new track “Inversion”. The track builds up beautifully, growing from quiant synths and guitar additions into a more symphonic glow as the two-minute mark approaches. Exotic vocal samples follow, lending an eerie psych-folk quality. The track is an auditory journey that shows Aydio’s continued growth.

“It’s just a natural progression of my music inspired by all kinds of music I’ve been listening to for the past few years,” Aydio explains. “I never have anything clear in mind when I’m working on a release – I just see what happens. It does though mark my departure from my safe-space of sticking to the 4/4 time signature with a whole two songs in 6/8 time!”

“The Surface of Revolution” and other memorable tracks from this month can also be streamed on the updating Obscure Sound’s ‘Best of August 2018’ Spotify playlist.
