Swisher – “phiend”

Swisher is a new project from Brooklyn-based artist Oliver Switzer. The project’s self-titled debut release is opened by the track “phiend”, a late-night groover that meshes nocturnal guitar tones and neon-tinged synths with a steady bass line. Switzer’s lush and entrancing vocals play well within the track’s consuming atmosphere. Showing a well-produced mixture of late-night electronics and guitar-pop, “phiend” is a great introduction to Swisher.

“phiend” and other memorable tracks from this month can also be streamed on the updating Obscure Sound’s ‘Best of September 2018’ Spotify playlist.

The track is also featured in the genre-based, best-of Spotify compilation Lush Indie Electro 2018.
