Poster Child – “Death Star Cadillac”

Poster Child’s debut release is a funky and infectious success, lyrically championing self-confidence with apt ’80s references, from CBGB to DeLoreans. “Death Star Cadillac” features vibrant vocals on top of the funky guitar licks and active rhythm section, letting loose in the final minute for bursts of instrumental flair. In just under three minutes, “Death Star Cadillac” does well in showcasing the act’s fun, melodic sound, with a fondness for funk, pop, and ’80s nostalgia.

“Death Star Cadillac” and other memorable tracks from this month can also be streamed on the updating Obscure Sound’s ‘Best of March 2019’ Spotify playlist.
