Jakob Ogawa – “All I Wanna Do”

Jakob Ogawa’s latest track “All I Wanna Do” is a memorable love song, touting the fast-rising artist’s calming vocal presence and lush melodic construction. Warbled synths kick off the track in accompaniment in high-pitched vocals, a tone that does well in providing a stark contrast to the murky synth movement. The final 30 seconds or so features an irresistible, bouncy melody with wordless vocal crooning, and a fantastically melodic bass lead-in throughout the closing moments. Ogawa’s Teen Angel EP will follow this summer, with a world-wide headline tour in support of the release happening right now in EU and Asia, with a nationwide U.S. tour in August. “All I Wanna Do” marks the start to a likely big year for Ogawa.

“All I Wanna Do” and other memorable tracks from this month can also be streamed on the updating Obscure Sound’s ‘Best of April 2019’ Spotify playlist.
