Arch Of Love – “Night Walk”

/

Philly duo Arch Of Love craft a nostalgic sound driven by guitars and synths, evident by new single “Night Walk.” An ethereal, light synth pad glistens to start, before an abrupt emergence of trickling guitars and anthemic vocals — all with an ’80s New Wave flair. The percussive fill around 01:10 gives way to the guitar and synth leads expanding in tone, as Chelsea Brennan’s sweeping vocals engage. A flourishing brass at the three-minute mark adds some lovely, Kaputt-esque vibes. The duo of Brennan and Chris Schackerman (formerly a touring member of The Pains of Being Pure at Heart) fully impress with “Night Walk.” I look forward to more from this duo.
