Noé Solange – “Running Away”

/

A chilled-out track exploring the realms of trip-hop and R&B, “Running Away” is a lush success from Noé Solange, an artist born in the Netherlands and presently living in London. A multi-instrumentalist (piano/guitar/violin) since a young age, the artist has been expanding her lushly sensual style with convincing allure, evident by “Running Away.” The track details the intricacies of a toxic relationship, the repeating “running away,” line representing the struggles of escaping a relationship over a spacey synth lingering and chilled-out rhythms. “It describes the difficulty of leaving someone who you know isn’t good for you, yet who you are still in love with,” Noé explains. Hypnotic with shades of Massive Attack, “Running Away” is a great, relaxing start to the week.

“Running Away” and other memorable tracks from this month can also be streamed on the updating Obscure Sound’s ‘Best of June 2019’ Spotify playlist.
