Sinqa – “Clay”

//

Described by the artist as “a groove-driven ballad about the fantasy of fame,” “Clay” is a newly released track from Sinqa. The Paris native releases this track alongside his EP of the same name. The initial sound shows concise guitar licks and mellow vocals, conjuring a hypnotic and mellow feel. A lush guitar-laden bridge at the two-minute mark provides some breathing room between the sections, with enchanting bursts of synths ensuing and wrapping this gem up with cohesion. “Clay” is a well-constructed track with hypnotic allure.

The 25-year-old singer/producer/multi-instrumentalist operates with a DIY charm — writing, recording, and producing all the music on his own. Certainly, Sinqa’s future appears very bright.

“Clay” and other memorable tracks from this month can also be streamed on the updating Obscure Sound’s ‘Best of November 2019’ Spotify playlist.
