Good Time Mystery Vision – “Be Good”

/

Following up last month’s melodic rocker “Cala Lillies,” Good Time Mystery Vision are back with another track in “Be Good.” This effort rides on a constant wave of guitar distortion and melodic vocals, recalling the spacey and hypnotic vibes of Spiritualized in the guitar presence, though with a more fervent and soaring vocal presence. The “be good, and you’ll see,” refrain plays especially well when the four-minute mark hits, as the distortion induces a hypnotic state by this point. A soaring guitar line emerges around 04:21 to help lead “Be Good” into a gracefully effective conclusion.

“Be Good” and other memorable tracks from this month can also be streamed on the updating Obscure Sound’s ‘Best of December 2019’ Spotify playlist.
