The Brothers Gaston – “Life After Death”

“Life After Death” marks the third track from The Brothers Gaston, comprised of brothers Zack and Ben Gaston. They show a suave sound fit for nighttime cruises, with twinkling synths and reverbed vocals leading the way. A mellower vein of Kavinsky comes to mind. The creative hip-hop twist around 01:45 plays well, succeeding amidst effervescent synths. The ensuing guitar work also plays with engaging qualities. “Life After Death” is a strong, atmospheric production with an alluring synthwave spirit.

“Life After Death” and other memorable tracks from this month can also be streamed on the updating Obscure Sound’s ‘Best of August 2020’ Spotify playlist.
