Champagne Atlantis – “Crybaby”

/

The shimmering, disco-tinged rocker “Crybaby” is a fantastic showing from Champagne Atlantis. climactic guitars and suave vocals lead to a soaring chorus, with a vibrant lead referencing the track title — and nicely punctuated by backing, responsive vocals that emit a strong melodic pull, followed by string-laden shimmering. The excitable, breathless quality is further enhanced by playful, free-flowing keys in the track’s undercurrent. The verses’ climactic nature, alongside the chorus’ bursting charm, makes for a track that wholly entices replays.

Per the artist, the track’s lyrics are “about people who jump into relationships too quickly as a result of their own insecurities.”
