Counting Chances – “Fine Fine Fine Fine Fine”

A moody success, “Fine Fine Fine Fine Fine” is a new track from Counting Chances. An unsettling feeling, and the insistence of reassurance, is captured poignantly via the lyrical repetition in the chorus. Haunting steel pedal provides stirring additions amidst the melancholic piano throughout, particularly upon the “why do I cry?” line around the one-minute mark. The “soaking wet,” bridge thereafter further reinforces the fully immersive mood. “Fine Fine Fine Fine Fine” is an affecting showing from Counting Chances.

“Fine Fine Fine Fine Fine” and other memorable tracks from this month can also be streamed on the updating Obscure Sound’s ‘Best of September 2020’ Spotify playlist.
