Josh Fudge – “When She’s Gone”

/

Josh Fudge wowed last month with the superbly catchy track “Second Date,” strutting a soulful mode of electronic pop heavy on hooks. The Oklahoma City-based artist finds similar success with his latest, “When She’s Gone.” Washes of synths brush alongside a bustling, funky bass line, giving way easily to the artist’s entrancing vocal pleasantries. The synth arpeggio re-emerges as the vocals assume a gentler distance, repeating with hypnotic allure. “When She’s Gone” continues a very strong 2020 output from Josh Fudge.

“When She’s Gone” and other memorable tracks from this month can also be streamed on the updating Obscure Sound’s ‘Best of September 2020’ Spotify playlist.
