Stemin – “Dare”

/

“Dare” is a dazzling new track from Stemin, featuring an assortment of synths, guitars, and brass throughout its sophisticated vein of pop. Clanging piano and spacey synth adornments comprise a punchy intro. Gliding vocals assume a suave lead, with the funk-tinged synth work injecting a sort of ’80s sophisti-pop nostalgia. The vocals are dramatic and emotive throughout, finely matching the expansive allure of the broad instrumentation.

The artist describes the track as “the story of two people, that like comets, drift away, driven by emotions and feelings lose themselves while they chase each other, though at the same time they find themselves again, as only possibility of escape.”

“Dare” is the fourth single from Stemin’s recent album #tellyourheart, released in August. The Netherlands-based, Italian-raised musician impresses throughout.

“Dare” and other memorable tracks from this month can also be streamed on the updating Obscure Sound’s ‘Best of September 2020’ Spotify playlist.
