Impressing this past October with the track “Perfect Imperfection,” Shihori shows further strong songwriting with the track “I Cover You.” This piano-forward ballad charms with an emotive lead and several catching instrumental additions. Serene acoustics and strings intermingle delightfully past the two-minute mark, as Shihori’s vocals commence a rousing rise. “I Cover You” continues to show Shihori’s penchant for well-written and produced material with piano and string-based adornments. “I Cover You” marks the last in Shihori’s “Self-Compassion Series.”
