The chorus around 02:08 is lovely and captivating — a bit McCartney-esque in those plucky guitar twangs. “VGer’s Dream” touts stellar songwriting and an overall consuming aesthetic, which feels enjoyably nostalgic though also refreshing in its melodic rollout. I’m looking forward to what’s next from Droske, who has another single out in the coming months.
