Saults – “Stuck In Old Fantasy”

A bursting pop success with funky guitar tines and crisp vocals, “Stuck In Old Fantasy” is a new track from London-based project Saults. Spritzy synth-driven nostalgia leads a lush beginning, quickly perking up alongside a peppy bass line and suave vocals. “Don’t waste your time, he’s out of your life,” the vocals plead during the climatic bridge, ushering into a memorable chorus that anthemically calls for moving forward. The brief moments of synth-laden lushness contrast enjoyably with the more unabashedly pop-friendly energy, making for a ceaselessly engaging listen. Produced by Jack Wilson of Fickle Friends, “Stuck In Old Fantasy” delightfully shows the hooky sound of Saults.

Per Saults:

“Toxic relationships haunt people, no matter how bad a situations gets, it can be hard to move on because you worship the past, “Stuck In Old Fantasy” is a conversation that discusses these issues in a fun upbeat package.”

“Stuck In Old Fantasy” and other memorable tracks can also be streamed on the updating Obscure Sound’s ‘Best of November 2021’ Spotify playlist.
