Snap Infraction – “Repeat Offender”

/

A memorable rocker meshing snarling guitars with dreamy vocal harmonizing, “Repeat Offender” is the latest single from Philadelphia-based band Snap Infraction. The duo of Steve Karsch and Tony Iannuzzi craft a sound that balances the hook-friendly immediacy of power-pop with an enjoyably raucous garage-rock sound. The “when the mirror stares right back at you,” hook charms in the power-pop vein, the reflective backing vocals adding wonderfully. The psychedelic bridge past the two-minute mark traverses with a definitive psychedelic-pop character, driving seamlessly into the delectable central hook for one final go-around. Snap Infraction capped off 2021 in excellent form with their sixth single of the year in “Repeat Offender.”

“Repeat Offender” and other memorable tracks from this month can also be streamed on the updating Obscure Sound’s ‘Best of January 2022’ Spotify playlist.
