Warahenege – “Velvet, Black, Ignite”

//

“Velvet, Black, Ignite” is the latest track from Manchester-based artist Warahenege, featured previously with tracks like “Strange New Crowd” and “Black Smoke, Autumn Breeze.” The glistening guitars shine amidst the lush vocal presence, crafting a delicately intriguing intro. The track builds steadily into textured, dreamy exultation by the mid-point, enjoying with its caressing peaks and valleys between gauzy guitar textures and synth-laden serenity. “Velvet, Black, Ignite” proves as another atmospheric and melodic success from Warahenege.

Per the artist, the track “grapples with the difficulty of loving someone else and how much it requires of oneself to be truly vulnerable with another.”
