Sid’s Balcony – “See In Me”

//

“See In Me” is a replay-inducing success from Australian act Sid’s Balcony, delivering breezy pop hooks amidst a suave aesthetic with a psych-tinged easy-listening appeal. “I just wanna hold my own,” the vocals let out initially, accompanied by understated guitars and steady percussion.

The ensuing chorus proves irresistible; the halted vocals and playful keys correspond melodically, traversing into a yearning acoustical-laden “feel like I’m in love,” sequence thereafter. Hypnotic keys glisten in the final minute, driving to one final hooky vocal go-round. “See In Me” is a hook-filled success from Sid’s Balcony.

This track and others featured this month can be streamed on the updating Obscure Sound’s ‘Best of September 2022’ Spotify playlist.

The track is also featured in the genre-based, best-of Spotify compilation Emerging Indie Pop.
