Enamoring with the single “What Do They See” in February, Dog Walk end their year with the track “To Be Yours.”
Soaring vocal harmonizing meets playful guitar bursts to start, evoking the sort of surf-y soaring apparent in “What Do They See,” although here with a brighter and more laid-back composure. The murky guitars and restrained vocals conjure a feeling reminiscent of The Replacements to start, gradually lifting off into resonating “to be yours,” croon in the satiating central hook. “To Be Yours” furthers the act’s grounding rock sound.
