Described as “a story of leaving a love and life behind only to start an entirely new one,” “Kaleidoscope” is a stellar single from Seattle-based act La Fonda. A preview of their forthcoming album, “Kaleidoscope” proves melodically stirring with its impassioned vocals, atmospheric guitars, and synth-laden pulses. A steady bass line provides a warming constant, especially as the track concludes with a captivating assortment of synths and late-night guitar work.
Valerie and Veronica Topacio wrote the track during a tour in 2019, whilst “gallivanting under the Texas sky.” “Writing this song together saved our lives. We were both battling some serious demons and had to face the consequences of poor decision-making and living a reckless lifestyle. This song is our tale about overcoming that pain and taking back our lives.”
The project first caught our ears with the single “In the Summer,” back in 2018, and I’m absolutely anticipating their new album.
