Many Places – “You Might Find Me”

/

Chicago-based band Many Places enamor on their new single “You Might Find Me.” Trumpet and saxophone additions play with smoothly entrancing qualities, amidst a dynamic tonal showing of both lushness and distortion-laden charisma.

A laid-back rock composure swells steadily into the “record time, I’m clear again,” bridge, rising into a multi-vocal vigor. The emotive vocals, guitar crunches, and brassy soaring converge throughout the gorgeous second half. Many Places have been playing around Chicago and the midwest since 2011, and continue to be excellent mainstays within the city’s rich indie-rock scene.

This and other tracks featured this month can be streamed on the updating Obscure Sound’s ‘Best of March 2023’ Spotify playlist.

The track is also featured in the genre-based, best-of Spotify compilation Emerging Indie Rock.
