Pebbl – “Sound Of Violence”

//

A dreamy electro-pop dazzler, “Sound Of Violence” is the latest single from Pebbl, the solo project of Bristol-based musician and visual artist Gina Marie Tratt.

Spacey synth pulses and lush vocals march forward into an effervescent “you wanted everything,” rise. A hint of melancholy lingers in the air as the second minute approaches and the vocals fade. Thereafter, the wordless vocal integration and bass-y propulsions provide a spine-tingling refreshment. “Sound Of Violence” balances lush embrace and hook-minded expression, resulting in a memorable production from Tratt, who records from her home studio alongside her cat Magi.

The track comes via the new EP, Moonbeams:

This and other tracks featured this month can be streamed on the updating Obscure Sound’s ‘Best of July 2023’ Spotify playlist.

The track is also featured in the genre-based, best-of Spotify compilation Emerging Dream-Pop.
