ProntaCorde – “Everybody Clap!”

/

Channeling the rising momentum on a neon-lit dancefloor, “Everybody Clap!” is a rousing electro-pop single from ProntaCorde. The Mexico City-based solo project of Jose-Alberto Gallegos excels with a range of spirited brass pushes, vintage synth excitement, and a dynamic range of debonair and excitable vocal samples alike. The title-touting beckoning is a central force, with clamoring to “move your feet, clap your hands, get up on the dancefloor,” enticing seamlessly alongside the spirited electro/club thumping.

“We came to party!” vocals assemble into the throbbing synth-bass movements. The spirited sensation of an all-night party getting underway is palpable, bolstered further by nocturnal synth lines emerging prior to the one-minute turn and its brassy bounces. An assortment of enthusiastic vocal samples and tightly produced momentum make for a riveting production, hitting particularly well at the 01:30 arp-laden vocal dreaminess. “Everybody Clap!” is a blast of stylish fun.
