HATE DRUGS – “TILL YOU’RE MINE”

/

Tender guitars and smooth brass kick off the inviting “TILL YOU’RE MINE,” the latest single from HATE DRUGS. A yearning, impassioned chorus — “mesmerized whenever I’m with you,” — proves firmly replay-inducing thereafter. The Bakersfield, California-based act formed in 2014, and have impressed with a number of releases since then, including previously featured tracks like “Never Wanna Leave” and “Afterimage.”

Representing the second single from the band’s upcoming third LP, “TILL YOU’RE MINE” begs to “make some time for me, baby,” as wailing brass and a moody bass line converge alongside a soaring vocal lead; the release marks another thorough success from HATE DRUGS, whose forthcoming album we’re certainly anticipating.

This and other tracks featured this month can be streamed on the updating Obscure Sound’s ‘Best of November 2023’ Spotify playlist.
