“Morning birds are singing, time to start the day,” the vocals commence aptly. Even as others awaken, the narrator exudes a feeling akin to being “adrift at sea,” — head-over-heels, and “lost in a dream of you.” Commuters bustle, flowers reach toward the sun, and life moves onward — yet a sense of yearning persists in this particular individual. “A Dream of You” captivates in its depiction of heartache, alongside a radiant production with singer/songwriter and power-pop charm.
