Midnight Snowball Fight – “Dot Dot Dot”

/

The hesitation of young love is conveyed artfully in catchy rock form on “Dot Dot Dot,” a new single from Midnight Snowball Fight, a band based in Washington, DC. A sole vocal emphasis guides seamlessly into steady guitar strums and excitable rhythms. “I was feeling ready, things were going steady, thought you might be feeling it too,” the vocals let out, admitting perhaps that impression was “a little optimistic.”

The night’s youthful optimism shows lyrically as guitars begin to enter, immersing further upon the “way back home,” hooky vocal ascension. “Dot Dot Dot” builds with melodic, climactic allure from the bass-y opening introspection into an infectious array of effervescent, vibrant guitar accompaniments and vocal escalations. “Dot Dot Dot” tempts replays with its shining rock production, having us excited for the next release from Midnight Snowball Fight.

This and other tracks featured this month can be streamed on the updating Obscure Sound’s ‘Emerging Singles’ Spotify playlist.

We discovered this release via MusoSoup, as part of the artist’s promotional campaign.
