Möss – “House on the Hill”

/

Danish band Möss deliver a reflective prowess with dream-pop immersion on new single “House on the Hill.” Jangling guitar illumination and expressive vocals lament how “the walls came tumbling down,” looking back at a past with emotional tumult — and specifically, per the band: “a childhood home, a divorce and a broken parent.” The quivering vocal ghostliness sends chills during the chorus, capturing a yearning for an idyllic home, while also understanding that it’s no longer possible. “House on the Hill” is a resonating success from Möss.

This and other tracks featured this month can be streamed on the updating Obscure Sound’s ‘Emerging Singles’ Spotify playlist.
