He describes the effort as reflecting “on the feeling of being an outsider unable to relate and the feelings of rejection and frustration that come with it.”
“All I want to do is to be stupid with you,” a layered vocal lushness begins amidst laid-back guitar tones, giving off a sense of nonchalance in the vocal tone and “but how I’d like to spend them, I really couldn’t say” perspectives on day-to-day living. The soulful “am I some kind of creature?” line shows shades of UMO, lovably, and seamlessly comes back into the suave verses. A dose of escalated vocal passion unveils in the final 30 seconds, capping off this stellar track with satiating ardor.
