The Tallest Man on Earth Announces Album

Swedish folkie Kristian Matsson (The Tallest Man on Earth) will release his third album, There’s No Leaving Now, on June 12 in the U.S. and June 11 in the UK. He also tweeted the cover, seen above.

There’s No Leaving Now is the follow-up to 2010’s Wild Hunt, our 20th favorite album of 2010. It showed rootsy folk played by a Swede who grasps American Appalachian folk better than most of its natives. We can probably expect more of the same from There’s No Leaving Now.
