A Hope for the Future – “Peace”

A Hope for the Future

Stockholm-based project A Hope for the Future is comprised of five talented musicians who are fond of both male and female vocal sections, citing inspirations like Belle & Sebastian, Fleetwood Mac, and Cocteau Twins. Formed in late 2013 in Barcelona, the collective released their debut EP last year, the release’s theme centering around living in Barcelona. “Peace” is a wonderful new uptempo electro track that combines uplifting melodies, soaring vocal harmonies, trickling keys and funky guitar lines to result in a summer-y bliss. Happy but not quite sugary-sweet, “Peace” is a great showing from this Stockholm-based five-piece.
