Emile van Dango creates atmospherically riveting music under the name Yellow House. The project, based out of Cape Town, South Africa, vocally recalls the sweeping psych-pop efforts of Panda Bear, specifically in the elongated vocal delivery and sonorous quality. On the musical spectrum, a bouncy funk-bass rides throughout, with psych-friendly guitar twangs emerging close to the two-minute mark. This is a suavely accomplished effort that cohesively utilizes a psychedelic soundscape amidst a brisk assortment of scene-setting instrumentation.
