Pale Rivers – “West Point”

/

Pale Rivers are a band out of Cork, Ireland, who debuted at Hard Working Class Heroes festival last October, eventually going on to support names like The Wedding Present, Teleman and Talos on stage. Their newest single, “West Point”, is a powerful, emotional stunner with a yearning chorus, featuring prominent guitar work and a playful rhythm section over the intense vocals. Everything from the “dark of night” bridge to the aforementioned big-hitting chorus works well from a songwriting and production angle, with the scenic video – directed by Kevin McGloughlin (Shit Robot) – adding to the enjoyment.
